Paolo Cavicchioli took a degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Modena in 1995 and began his professional career within the Venturini Group, a leader in typography and industrial printing. As early as 1997, he was made the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of this organization.

From 2001 Cavicchioli is Ceo and co-founder with Sergio Muratori Casali of Doxee. The company’s mission is to be the ideal partner in managing outbound digital communication for businesses and supporting them in the dematerialization of their business processes. Doxee provides excellence in CCM services to over 200 large international enterprises in banking, finance, telco, utilities and public sector.

Gartner has identified in 2013 Doxee as a “Visionary” in its first-ever Magic Quadrant for Customer Communications Management Software (CCM).

From 2012 Cavicchioli is member of Confindustria Modena Council and member of Regional Confindustria Digital association. He is also a member of the board of directors of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia from 2012.
